2. Hosting with Strato
Our website is hosted by STRATO AG, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin. When you visit our website, Strato collects so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits. These are: browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, hostname of the accessing computer, time of the server request, and your IP address. This data is not merged with other data sources. The collection of this data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and security of our website.
3. Contact
If you contact us by e-mail, the data you transmit, including your contact details, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing your inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent. The processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, if your request is related to the fulfillment of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of the inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).
4. External Services (Third-Party Providers)
This website uses external services for the uniform presentation of content and fonts. The use of these services requires your consent, which is obtained via a consent banner (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). Without your consent, these services will not be loaded.
a) Google Fonts
We use Google Fonts, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, for the uniform display of fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly. For this purpose, your browser must establish a connection to Google's servers, whereby Google learns that our website has been accessed via your IP address.
b) Font Awesome
We use Font Awesome, a service of Fonticons, Inc., USA, for the uniform display of symbols (icons). When you call up a page, your browser loads the required icons to display them correctly. For this purpose, a connection is established to the servers of Font Awesome (usually via a CDN such as cdnjs.cloudflare.com), whereby the provider becomes aware of your IP address.
c) YouTube Videos
We embed videos from the YouTube platform on our website. The operator is Google Ireland Limited. We use YouTube in extended data protection mode. According to YouTube, this mode means that YouTube does not store any information about visitors to this website before they watch the video. The transfer of data to YouTube partners is not necessarily excluded by the extended data protection mode. Only when you play a video is a connection to the YouTube servers established and it is communicated which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to assign your surfing behavior directly to your personal profile.
